Asus H370 Mining Master motherboard

In case you are just entering into crypto mining space you should be on a lookout for the recently announced Asus motherboard that goes by name H370 Mining Master.

Apart from supporting latest Coffee Lake generation of Intel CPUs and multiple ATX plug connectors which is the feature  we already seen on their previous mining board – B250 Mining Expert, this new board has one new feature that miners will appreciate even more.

Vertical USB ports over PCIe

Instead of regular PCIe slots now you have 20x USB 3.1 gen1 connectors, so no more problems with loose riser connectors which could easily be extrude from the PCIe slot by accident.
For your convenience you still have one full profile PCIe x16 slots for one GPU, keep in mind if you connect your card to PCIe slot you will lose first USB 3.1 connector because this board can register only 20x GPUs.

Every of three available 24-pin ATX plugs on this motherboard is used for powering specific group of USB riser ports which are labelled in groups A01-A07, B08-B13, C14-C20.
This can provide us with properly balanced rig and save us some money because there is no need for any additional cables and plugs that we used before for powering ON all of our PSUs simultaneously.

Old Asus B250 Mining Expert didn’t have any dedicated Power ON or reset switches on board so they decided to change that on Mining Master by implementing POWER and RESET buttons directly on board.

GPU State Detection

Board will come with already seen feature “GPU State Detection“; which can provide us with current status of each card either through BIOS or booting process, for example card with bad connection or no external power plugged in can be detected without even starting your operating system, this way you already know that the problem is not caused by drivers or OS for that matter.

The ASUS Mining Master will be released later this year; currently there is no more information about retail price.
